Rocks and Wheels is a special location for all types of wheel-based activities. We have South Scotland’s largest pump track, suitable for everyone from first‑timers to full‑on pros and completely free to use.

Planning on visiting our pump track for the first time? You’ll find some helpful pointers in the drop-downs below.

In a word, ‘everybody’. Our pump track welcomes little ones on their first wheels, right through to experienced daredevils. It accommodates more than bikes too, with all sorts of wheeling allowed. The mini track, meanwhile, helps newbies to get to grips with the ‘pump action’ and develop their skills. Are you ready to take on the challenge?

A bike and your best moves. More specifically, your choice of wheels, plus a helmet and any other protective gear you might want to wear. Need to borrow a bike? Get in touch to rent one for two hours, with a helmet and gloves on the house. A water bottle is usually a good idea too.

Lots of fun. The track is free to use, unless you snag it for an exclusive event (see below). It’s also floodlit until 10pm. And when you’re ready to take a breather, bike lockers and stands are available to use while you recharge in the café. All track users MUST wear a helmet.

You’ve guessed it, our pump track can be hired out for exclusive events and parties. It’s a brilliant option for unique celebrations, which kids and adults will talk about for ages. As well as the outdoor action, our café offers catering to keep energy levels high. For full details, please get in touch.

Vorld automatically times every lap you ride on a Velosolutions Pump Track with a Vorld Gate. No transponder. No guesswork. Just you, the track and the clock.
